Power Testing

I did an AT/FT test on the CompuTrainer at Wheelie Fun on Wednesday evening. The whole test can only last 24 minutes. Its only 24 minutes, a piece of cake. We start the test with easy spinning and I'm thinking 24 minutes is definitely reachable. I realized its not going to be that easy when Bob bets me any bike in the shop that I won't last 24 minutes. The way the test works is the resistance increases every minute and power and heart rate are recorded. I think I lasted 14 minutes before I finally had to stop. Final stats...Threshold Power = 295 watts, Aerobic Threshold = 164 bpm. Top power reached was 350 watts with a max heart rate of 184 (I think my actual max HR is a little higher but it only hit 184 during the test). The power numbers were actually a little higher than I expected. My power to weight ratio put me at a decent Cat 2 level. I figure not bad for an old guy.
