We Are Moved
We have move to the new house. Two movers showed up on Monday and took four days to pack and load. About eight movers showed up at the new place on Friday morning and started unloading at around 9:30. They had everything off the trucks by 5:00 PM. One of the movers commented on how light the Ritchey Breakaway was and wanted to know how much it cost. I was a little embarrassed when I told him what I paid for it. He just shook his head an said, "Man, I could by a nice car for that".
I didn't get much bike time last week but that's OK. I was still felling really worn down from the OVR series, the stress of moving and work stuff. I needed to take a few days off the bike to recharge. It was not the best situation for recovery but I will admit the legs feel better.
I have been out for a few rides up here. First impressions...very flat and very boring. I know I'll get used to it, especially when I learn the roads. Right now, I take a map with me every time I go out. I'll keep exploring until I can get a feel for where I should ride. I think east and north will definitely be the best options.
