It been a couple of days since I hit the dog and broke my fork. The body is OK. I just have a small scrape on my knee. I dropped the bike off at Tri-Tech on Monday. I decided to replace the fork with the same one that broke, an Easton EC90 SLX...this bike stuff is too damn expensive. I might have it back by the end of the week.
I'm feeling pretty tired right now. I did a cardio class at lunch on Monday that kicked my ass. It was a lot of plyometrics and finished with four minutes of an intense interval with a 45 lb weight plate. I'm was really hurting. I've been doing this boot camp type of workout a couple days a week at lunch time. We have a nice workout facility, here at work, with a lot of up to date weight and cardio equipment and a couple of certified trainers. They do these kick ass classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I'll probably continue to do them as often as possible until I start racing. After racing starts, I might do it once a week but I'll have to see what happens. The body only has so much energy.
