I had a big meltdown on a ride with Jason, Rob and Lance a couple of Saturdays ago. I had the feeling, when the ride started, I was on a bad day. Two hours into the ride I started feeling really bad. We made a stop at a coffee shop in Granville where I grabbed a Red Bull and a Danish. The caffeine and sugar rush got me through the next ten miles feeling pretty good. At 60 miles the legs just went dead. Lance nursed me through the next 15 miles to get home. I was whining the whole way about my sore back, sore neck and hurting legs. After 75 miles, I was just a big lump of flesh and goo.

About Me
- Name: Doug
- Location: Galena, Ohio, United States
I'm just the normal run of the mill average "Doug" who happens to be obsessed with racing a bike. The few people who actually read this blog might wonder if I do anything but ride my bike. I really do other things but this blog is about the bike and the rides I do. There are no deep thoughts or astute observations found here. I will not try to sound intellectual or deep on any subject (I know I'm stating the obvious here...just look at what I post:). There will not be much really personal stuff here because the personal stuff is....yes, personal. I will occasionally post some personal things but this blog is about the bike.
